There is a significant difference between current vs new UI at #D365, isn’t it ?I believe a following screenshot is showing the difference well.
New UI looks better, not so much white space like in current UI. I really hope it will be a game changer and it won’t break anything in existing CRM’ systems. New unified concept is very interesting challenge which could improve user experience with this product.
Event Management is due to be part of the Business Edition Marketing app at Dynamics 365. Microsoft hasn’t confirmed final dates for the preview or release (Spring 2017 Release) yet.
It may still be subject to change, the new Dynamics 365 Marketing app will include only limited marketing resource management capabilities. But it will include more robust features for most multi-channel campaigns, event management, sales collaboration, customer intelligence and profiling and customization. Microsoft hasn’t confirmed dates for preview or release for this yet, but they are expecting news in the next couple of weeks.
I have heard about some presentations on Extreme 365 (conference) about it – Param’s deck. However there is not too much information online about like so far. I just could find a few screenshots about incoming Event Management at D365.

CRM: Salesforce vs Dynamics 365 – Pricing. I think a decision here is very easy. Thank you. For money which you save on right technology decision – Dynamics 365, you can buy even Ferrari – amazing. Of course I have in mind the large CRM implementations.
Recently I have heard that, with Salesforce is a bit like the queues at Disneyland. It is never-ending story, but with fees! Well said. Sorry, to be not political correct. I believe that these days clients want to hear the true, IT is not Disneyland!
I think the example with Ferrari will really work for many clients, especially Financial Services. It is a great conclusion and maybe idea as well! Let me know your thoughts.

Unified Interface in Dynamics 365 looks great, not so much white space like in current UI. The thing is, I just hope it won’t break anything in existing UI.
The challenging plan behind Unified Client Interface/Infrastructure “UCI” is to bring a single client technology to cover all the different UI’ s across many devices, Outlook, Web Mobile, …. – fingers crossed!

CRM Dev Tool is a great tool which reduces a lot of time of dynamics 365 professionals in their day to day activities. It is an add on to google chrome and easy to use. Just to list a few usages:

A next great CRM meetup with my experienced IT colleagues at London. The conclusion from our meeting was: it doesn’t matter how good/experience you are, there will be always ‘bomb on the road’ at your project. The questions only are:
Like for IT meet-up, it was very emotional meeting. Everybody told about his/her the worst project, client and bad action plan. The thing is, even the best team, best plan won’t survive the meeting with the client. Did you experience this problem before? If not please be ready for that!
IT project, particularly CRM’ implementation is really hard work for both sides: IT provider and the client as well. You can never be sure whether something wrong comes up very late and completely destroys the whole hard work and project itself – like in life you never know. For that reason IT projects are so exciting and difficult, even for experienced people as well. Our advise is, , please never gave up – the same true like in life!

Combining LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Dynamics 365 for Sales should unify social and sales data to identify the right leads and connect with them through personalized engagement – very interesting. No doubt, I must try it out

New XrmToolBox plugin : Portal Records Mover. It allows to export/import portal records that have been created/updated since a specific date – nice!
Finally we can be very precise and selecting only records we exact need.

Configuring the Portals for Dynamics 365 could be very complex and time consuming – simply madness. I never gave up, but I believe it should better way to manage this madness these days. Recently Monsier Touzard, the creator of the XrmToolBox, released a new tool called the “Portal Code Editor” to help manage many things in a nice and easy way – Thanks God. It reduced my big effort a lot – well done. It is well structured and useful tool. Indeed a great tool it is and really needed!
